49 Years of Impeccable Hardware Service Experience
About Patzer's Hardware Hank
Archie and Bea Patzer purchased the Gambles hardware store in Marshall in 1967. Gambles' original location
was at 348 W. Main; at that time, it was next to the fire station and police station. In 1984, the company moved to its current location, 411 W. Main.
Woolworth’s and Penney’s were at one time located here. In 1988, the decision was made to change the franchise to Hardware Hank; the name was then changed to Patzer’s Hardware Hank.
Gambles / Patzer’s has always sold furniture and appliances, but that portion of the business was renamed as Patzer’s Furniture & Appliance in 1997.
Several Years of Excellent Customer Service
Our founder, Archie Patzer, passed away on October 10, 1996. We are dedicated to continuing this business and running it under the same high principles that Archie had set.
During our entire history in Marshall, we have always taken pride in treating all of our customers with utmost respect. We have always, and will always, bend over backwards to take care of our customers’ needs and wants.
We want all of our customers to feel that they are our friends. We believe that this is the secret to our success and is crucial to further our success.
Currently, brothers Lyle and Mark Patzer own the business as second generation owners and are proud to be an important part of Marshall’s Main Street.
